Product Description
The Label IT® Nucleic Acid Labeling Reagents offer efficient, one-step, nonradioactive labeling of DNA or RNA using a single reagent.The nonenzymatic Label IT® Reagents covalently label the guanine residues of the nucleic acid in a non-destructive manner.The labeling reactions are easy to perform, rapid, and can be scaled up without decreasing the labeling efficiency. Adjusting the incubation time and/or the amount of reagent easily controls the labeling density. The Label IT® Reagents efficiently label any nucleic acid - DNA (doublestranded, single-stranded, super coiled and linear) and RNA. Simply adjusting the ratio of reagent to nucleic acid or the reaction time can easily control the extent of modification; densities of one label per 10 bp are possible.

Product Description
The Label IT® siRNA Tracker™ Intracellular Localization Kit provides a straight forward approach to directly label and deliver siRNA, of your design, in an efficient yet non-destructive manner, for in vitro tracking experiments. Subcellular localization and functional inhibition of target gene expression can be monitored following introduction of the labeled siRNA into mammalian cells. This kit provides sufficient reagents to label 50 µg of siRNA and perform at least 500 transfections in 24-well plates. Trans IT®-TKO™ Transfection Reagent, which is included in the kit, is designed specifically for high efficiency, low toxicity siRNA transfections in a variety of cell lines.

The Label IT® µArray™ Biotin Labeling Kit is recommended for single-channel microarray applications. The use of biotin as a marker molecule for hybridization requires a post-hybridization detection procedure with a fluorophore. As such, a biotin-labeled sample provides the flexibility to use any of a variety of established single color detection strategies. In single-color microarray experiments, one sample is hybridized and detected per microarray slide and relative gene expression can be determined from comparison of independently normalized data sets for each sample.

The Label IT® µArray™ Dual Labeling Kit is recommended for dual-channel microarray applications and includes Label IT® µArray™ Reagents for labeling samples with biotin and fluorescein. The use of biotin and fluorescein as marker molecules for hybridization requires a post-hybridization detection procedure with different fluorophore-labeled conjugates. As such, biotin- and fluorescein-labeled samples provide flexibility and compatibility with a variety of established dual color detection strategies. A simple detection method using Cy™3-conjugated streptavidin and a Cy™5-conjugated anti-fluorescein antibody that is compatible with standard microarray scanners is provided in the kit protocol.
