Labeling Peptides and Proteins with Fluorescent Dyes or Biotin:

AnaTag™ Protein Labeling Kits are designed for the simple and fast labeling of proteins with fluorescent dyes and biotin with minimal hands-on time.
The kits are ideally suited to label antibodies, hormones, or other proteins as well as other macromolecules containing primary amino groups. These kits are extremely valuable for researchers who are less experienced in labeling proteins with reporter groups.
All the kits are carefully designed and chosen to meet both labeling and storage needs. AnaTag™ labeling reagents react with primary amines (i.e. lysine residues or terminal amino groups) on the protein, forming a natural and stable covalent bond (amide). The linkage between the label and the protein produced with these reagents is stable, with no significant loss of the label during storage. AnaTag™ protein labeling kits offer the following features:

Each kit contains all the essential components needed for at least five labeling reactions (up to 1/5/10 mg of protein per reaction, depending on the specific kit) that include labeling reagent, proprietary reaction buffer, a ready-to-use purification column and a detailed operation protocol with a complete trouble-shooting guide. The proprietary reaction buffer, that eclipses the traditional potassium carbonate buffer, is in a ready-to-use format, minimizing the hands-on time. The pre-packed columns give optimal purification results.
