PrimeSTAR™ HS DNA Polymerase, a novel new high fidelity PCR
enzyme which provides maximum fidelity as well as extended product
length (8.5 kb for human genomic DNA; 22 kb for l DNA). PrimeSTAR™ HS’s unmatched performance is achieved by a superior proofreading ability due to a robust 3’ → 5’ exonuclease activity. Furthermore an antibody-mediated hot start formulation prevents false initiation events during the reaction assembly due to mispriming and primer dimer, thus improving reaction specificity and efficiency. When used with its optimized reaction buffer, Prime-STAR™ HS achieves the high fidelity, high sensitivity, and high specificity required for applications such as DNA amplification from cDNA library.

Features:
- High Accuracy: A strong exonuclease activity results in an extremely
low error rate, with only 12 errors per 250,000 bp as determined by
DNA sequence analysis.
- High Efficiency: Amplification efficiency higher than Taq olymerase.
- Robust Amplification: Tolerance to varying reaction conditions means
a single PCR cycling protocol can be used to amplify products of
varying sizes.
- GC-Rich Targets: Robust performance even with GC-rich templates.
