EnVISION™ is a fluorescent DNA stain that enables instant band visualization during or immediately after running your agarose gel. Supplied in 6x Loading Buffer, it forms a tight complex with the sample DNA and comigrates with it during electrophoresis. Simply place the gel on a standard UV transilluminator to instanteously see the bands.

standard UV transilluminator. Post-run staining and destaining is completely eliminated. Sensitivity is comparable to Ethidium Bromide. EnVISION™ is non-hazardous and eliminates special
shipping, handling and disposal considerations. It is ideal for applications needing rapid DNA band visualization and for environments requiring a safe, non-hazardous alternative to Ethidium Bromide.

EnVISION™ stained 1kb DNA ladder – courtesy of Dr. Mary Cismowski at NEOUCOM. Samples of a 1 kb DNA ladder were mixed with EnVISION™ and resolved on a 1% Agarose gel in TAE buffer. The gel was run at 135 volts for 1 hour. Bands were visualized by exposure to UV light on a transilluminator. Lane 1: 1.00 μg. Lane 2: 0.75 μg. Lane 3: 0.50 μg. Lane 4: 0.25 μg.
