Molecular Probes is recognized as the world's leading developer of fluorescence-based reagents and assays. Our technologies, and R&D and manufacturing services, are available to interested parties through licensing or fee-for-service arrangements.

Licensing

We have extensive patent coverage for our novel technologies , many of which are available for licensing. We welcome inquiries at busdev@probes.com from companies interested in partnering with us to expand our marketing and technical capabilities.

Contract Research and Development, Consulting and OEM Supply

We have close relationships with a number of instrument companies and regularly work with other companies to match your detection instrumentation with our proprietary technology. We can design and develop kits, reagents, assays or analytical procedures under contract or can provide advice on reagents and methods for assay development. Our more than 20 years of protein conjugation experience gives us the expertise to design and prepare superior labeled antibodies or other proteins under license, using our proprietary dyes. Our experience in the synthesis of fluorescent organic research chemicals is unsurpassed by any other company in the field today. For OEM needs that go beyond custom synthesis, we can supply any of our products with special packaging, custom labels, predetermined lot characteristics and guaranteed specifications. We are ISO certified and supply reagents to a range of manufacturers.
