| Description: | Liposomal Ions ׀ Liposomal zinc is designed for delivery of zinc across the cell membranes. Zinc chloride at an internal concentration of 2 mM is encapsulated in the liposome. The external zinc concentration is 0.2 mM. To ensure the delivery efficiency, the lipid composition of the liposomal zinc is the same as that for a liposomal drug in clinic which is HSPC: DSPE-PEG2000: cholesterol (3:1:1, mass ratio). The average size of liposomes is about 110 nm. This product includes 2 ml of 2 mM zinc chloride encapsulated in 6 mg/ml liposomes in 0.1 M NaCl. |
