| Description: | Influenza virus A / H1 (swine flu) - Swine influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza viruses that regularly cause outbreaks of influenza in pigs. Swine flu viruses do not normally infect humans, but sporadic human infections with swine flu have occurred. AmpliSens® Influenza virus A/H1-swine-FRT PCR kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for qualitative detection of Influenza virus A/H1N1(sw2009) RNA in clinical materials (nasal and oropharyngeal swabs, sputum or nasopharyngeal and tracheal aspirates, and autopsy material (fragments of affected parts of lungs)) by using real-time hybridization-fluorescence detection of amplified products. |
