| Description: | Antibacterial Drug Target ׀ DNA topoisomerase I (topo I) converts supercoiled circular DNA into relaxed DNA (DNA relaxation reaction). The Gel-Based E. coli Topoisomerase I DNA relaxation Assay Kit is based on the principle that the supercoiled DNA and relaxed DNA are separated by agarose gel electrophoresis. The kit includes all reagents for 100 samples in gel-based assays of E. coli topo I DNA relaxation activity. It includes 300 µl of 10 x Buffer T1, 100 µl of 250 mg/ml supercoiled DNA, 550 µl of 5 x Gel loading buffer and 10 µl of 4 µM E. coli topoisomerase I enzyme. |
