| Description: | Liposomal Ions ׀ Liposomal EDTA is designed for delivery of EDTA across the cell membranes. EDTA at an internal concentration of 30 mM is encapsulated in the liposome. The external EDTA concentration is 3 mM. To ensure the delivery efficiency, the lipid composition of the liposomal EDTA is the same as that for a liposomal drug in clinic which is HSPC: DSPE-PEG2000: cholesterol (3:1:1, mass ratio). The average size of liposomes is about 130 nm. This product includes 2 ml of 30 mM EDTA encapsulated in 6 mg/ml liposomes in 0.1 M NaCl. |
