| Description: | Liposomal Amino Acids ׀ Liposomal histidine is designed for delivery of histidine across the cell membranes. Histidine at an internal concentration of 100 mM is encapsulated in the liposome. The external histidine concentration is 1 mM. To ensure the delivery efficiency, the lipid composition of the liposomal histidine is the same as that for a liposomal drug in clinic which is HSPC: DSPE-PEG2000: cholesterol (3:1:1, mass ratio). The average size of liposomes is about 110 nm. This product includes 2 ml of 100 mM histidine encapsulated in 6 mg/ml liposomes in 0.1 M NaCl. |
