| Description: | Liposomal Ions ׀ Liposomal manganese is designed for delivery of manganese across the cell membranes. Manganese chloride at an internal concentration of 15 mM is encapsulated in the liposome. The external manganese concentration is 0.5 mM. To ensure the delivery efficiency, the lipid composition of the liposomal manganese is the same as that for a liposomal drug in clinic which is HSPC: DSPE-PEG2000: cholesterol (3:1:1, mass ratio). The average size of liposomes is about 110 nm. This product includes 2 ml of 15 mM manganese chloride encapsulated in 6 mg/ml liposomes in 0.1 M NaCl. |
