| Description: | Liposomal Ions ׀ Liposomal sulfate is designed for delivery of sulfate across the cell membranes. Ammonium sulfate at an internal concentration of 200 mM is encapsulated in the liposome. The external sulfate concentration is 0.5 mM. To ensure the delivery efficiency, the lipid composition of the liposomal sulfate is the same as that for a liposomal drug in clinic which is HSPC: DSPE-PEG2000: cholesterol (3:1:1, mass ratio). The average size of liposomes is about 90 nm. This product includes 2 ml of 200 mM ammonium sulfate encapsulated in 6 mg/ml liposomes in 0.1 M NaCl. |
