| Description: | Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is an albumin protein with a molecular mass of 66 kDa. It is widely used as a protein mass standard, and BSA conjugates are good controls of biological processes where an accurate molecular mass is important. Biotinylated BSA is widely used for numerous applications such as binding assays, protein printing, carrier protein tests and as a permeability probe. It is also useful in biotin quantitation assays. |
