| Description: | Ovalbumin (OVA) is the major protein found in the egg white, with a molecular mass of 42.7 kDa. It is widely used as a protein mass standard, and OVA conjugates are good controls of biological processes where an accurate molecular mass is important. Fluorescent dye-OVA conjugates have been used in antigen uptake assay, lymphatic circulation tracking and drug delivery studies. The fluorescence of HiLyte™ Fluor 488-OVA conjugate can be observed at the excitation/emission wavelength of 499 nm/523 nm. |
