The Ac-EEVVAC-AMC can be used to screen for inhibitors of the NS3 protease by monitoring release of fluorescent AMC. Activity is quantified by release of free fluorescent 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC) which excites at 360-380 nm and emits at 440-460 nm. |
